WHICH CARRIERS DO YOU WORK WITH?

The carriers are CTT and GLS.

 

HOW MUCH ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

The shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size of the items, delivery destination and whether you choose regular or registered mail.

 

WHERE IS IT SHIPPED FROM?

All orders are shipped from Portugal.

 

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can track your order when you choose tracked mail at check out. The tracking number will be provided by e-mail. Tracking is not available in all countries.

 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRACKED AND STANDARD MAIL?

Lost, misplaced or damaged items and delays during transport are not the responsibility of Casa D’Amendoeira, but of the carrier.

By choosing tracked mail, you will have the advantage of being able locate your order during transit, besides allowing you to complain to the carrier in cases of lost, misplaced or damaged items and delays.

Standard mail does not allow order tracking and in case of loss, misplacement, damages and delays it will not be possible to claim. The shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

If you have entered an incorrect delivery address, please email us immediately to update your order. This is only possibly if your orders have not yet been dispatched.

 

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

All orders are hand packed. We process orders within 3-5 working days after the order has been placed. The shipping time is 3-5 working days as our products are handmade in small batches.

You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

We only pack orders on business days and it may take up to 1-2 business days for your tracking link to be updated in case you choose tracked mail. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation with tracking number after 2 business days, you can always contact us via email and we will be happy to help.

CAN I CHANGE OR UPDATE MY ORDER?

In most cases it is not possible to change or update your order. However, you can contact us and we will do our best to accommodate any changes before the order is packaged for shipment. Please note, however, that this is not always possible.

 

WILL I BE CHARGED TAXES AND FEES?

Within the European Union no taxes or duties will be charged. For international shipments outside the European Union, you may be charged fees and taxes on your shipment, for which you will be responsible. Please note that these extra costs are the responsibility of the customer and are out of our control. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

 

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

The expected time for an order to leave our studio and arrive at your address is 3-15 working days, depending on the chosen delivery method and destination. The shipping time is 3-7 working days as our products are hand-made in small batches.

You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as your order has been dispatched.

These deadlines are merely indicative. Deadlines may be extended by limitations external to Casa D’Amendoeira, so we are not responsible for delays in deliveries.

WHAT IF I REFUSE TO PICK UP OR ACCEPT YOUR ORDER?

If you refuse to accept your order, you will be responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs charges incurred on your order and the cost of returning it to our address. This amount will be deducted from your order refund.

 

WHAT IF NO ONE IS HOME TO RECEIVE THE ORDER?

If it is not possible to pick up the order within the stipulated period and the order returns to our address, you will be responsible for the payment of a new shipping cost.

 

I NEED TO RECEIVE A PRODUCT FROM YOU URGENTLY, HOW CAN I DO IT?

In this situation you can contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request and arrange a solution. Please note, however, that this is not always possible.

 

COVID-19

We are shipping orders as usual. Some local delivery services are experiencing delays which are unfortunately beyond our control. For this reason we recommend choosing tracked mail if you need something urgent.
